Welcome to the Michiana Lady Scrappers 2021-2022 Tryouts Registration with the Michiana Scrappers.
This registration will allow you to provide contact information, sign consents and submit payment. Please read through each page carefully to ensure that all information is provided accurately. To complete registration through our secure site, please have your Visa, MasterCard, Discover or checking account information available.
The Michiana Scrappers, Northern Indiana largest travel organization, has been in existence for over 15 years and continues to grow each season.
Development of our players is our #1 focus and the majority of this is done in the off-season. Our organization offers an indoor training facility that is available 24/7 throughout the entire year to do additional training. We offer a 24/7 access Key Fob for $120.00/year for Scrapper players.
Each team will have the authority to determine their schedules. Our goal is to always challenge our players and seek out a competitive schedule, but also be aware of the costs of overnight travel. Thus, a typical season could see 1-2 overnight trips for younger teams and 2-3 overnight trips for College Exposure teams. This is all team specific and should be discussed with the Coach.
All indoor training will be done at the ScrapYard (4027 N Home Street, Mishawaka, IN 46545) and outdoor practices will typically be held at Penn HS, Elkhart HS, Riverview, Penn Park and/or Newton Park.
This year we will also be hosting T2 Performance offering training sessions at our facility. These will run in the off-season October to February and cost roughly $100/month for 2 sessions a week (optional). Another addition to our program this year will be providing Sports Recruits memberships to our 15U and over Players. This is a fantastic resource geared all around the recruitment process with the sole purpose of getting our players into contact with College Coaches and getting them committed to the perfect College program for them!
Our 2021-2022 season price for all age groups will be $675 per player. Total fees include Indoor Facility Cost, Outdoor Practice Cost, Directors Fee, Sports Recruit, Sanctioning/Insurance, Equipment, & Coaches. This will be due in installments with the first ($325) due on August 15th to secure your spot on the team. There will also be two more payments in the amount of $175 each due on September 1st and October 1st.
In addition each family will be Invoiced in October/November for their portion of the teams tournament fees. These will be required to be paid by Jan 15th. The organization will schedule each team into their events once tournament invoices are paid. (*Please note Gate Fees are not included. This is a separate expense to be covered by the families as well).
In Jan the last expense for a family will be uniforms. Each team will choose their uniform styles and quantities. Rough average cost will be $160-$200 per player. Fundraiser options will be available in the fall and winter to reduce your overall costs. Teams may do additional fundraisers as well.
